thats a pretty cool machine....excuse my lack of knowledge, but why 3000rpm? They are spun alot faster in the car/truck.

I have no idea.. that really isn't my department.. haha.

It's only suggested to spin it to 3000 if it is a racing application.
Passenger stuff is probably ok at 2250-2500.
Heavy duty (18wheeler etc) is good <2000 (~1750ish).
